Old&New
It’s almost over; the christmas holidays. Even though I am already at work again it doesn’t feel like a normal working day. I cannot get started and am not really productive. It could be the traces of alcohol in my blood from all the unneccesary new year’s eve champagne and beer, but maybe it’s just because today is only the second day in this brand new year.
I am not one of those people that start a year with some hard to reach good intentions. I think those goals/decisions can be made at any night in a year. Ofcourse, a night like new year’s eve is a nice turning point, but still. The lack of good intentions doesn’t mean I don’t want to get things done this year. First up is getting my workarea/room up in shape. It’s not that big so a lot of wall is going to be used for storage and showcasing. In that case I can keep the ground clear and hopefully that makes it all look a bit less messy and bigger that it is now…
I am also thinking about writing blog posts in Dutch. Since that is my native language… It’s easier for me to write my blog posts in Dutch, but the Gundam posts will stay in English, so don’t worry, haha!
Then there is my flickr account plus the amount of camera’s in my closet. Somehow I kind of let the whole photography neglect since I started working four days a week. I really need to get back to taking pictures. When I was in artschool it all happened kind of automatic, but since that ended so did the photography. Too bad and it shouldn’t be like that. Maybe I just have to go out and shoot some nice photo’s for my new room. Manualy print them on a nice big sheet of Ilford paper. That sounds good!
