Deze zomervakantie ben ik mijn good-ol’ Casio verloren… Helaas, helaas, maar laat er nu net een paar nieuwe G-shocks uitgebracht worden!

En dan spreekt de witte (van de ‘good guys’) mij toch het meeste aan…

Nadeel is alleen wel dat die krengen ¥16,800 kosten, omgerekend zo’n €125,-. Mmh, misschien maar een mooie brief aan Sinterklaas schrijven alvast?

Een tamme zaterdag was blijkbaar wat ik nodig had om de Kaempfer af te maken. Een zijdeglans lak laagje een een foto sessie die nu hier terug te vinden is waren alles wat er nog voor nodig was. Verder nog een beetje aan de Nemo geknutseld en vooral lekker ontbeten.

Vorige week had ik het er nog met een collage over. Dat het bloggen mij toch zwaarder afgaat dan vroeger. Af en toe heb ik het gevoel dat ik niets te melden heb… Ja vorige week heb net op tijd de Belastingdienst laten weten hoeveel ik nu verdien etc. Maar af en toe lijkt het alsof er niet veel meer gebeurd op een dag. Ik werk dan ook gewoon, dus dat ’scheelt’ ook waarschijnlijk wel. Pfoe, ik hou het ook gewoon alweer voor gezien, ha-ha!

Allright, I did a lot, but can’t really show. My girfriend’s out of town and she’s got the camera… The other ones I have lying around are analogue so today you’ll have to do it with scans! I got started on my personal masking challenge: The Weaponry. Didn’t really made a good start, you can read more about it on the progress-page.

As for the rest: I’m also bussy with the christmass presents for my girlfriend and her family. Still have a lot to draw… When the party is over I’ll make some scans and upload the whole lot. Untill that time I can’t tell you what it will be, it’s the internetz, everybody can read it!

That was sort of a half ass weekend… Saturday I went to the open day at the CABK in Zwolle. It’s the artschool that my girlfriend is planning to attend. She’s still in Enschede at the AKI now, but want’s to change since in Zwolle there’s a special course for book illustration, children books, et cetera. One of here major sources of inspiration is Wolf Erlbruch. He does have made a load of really good books, well as far as I can tell.

Sunday sucked ass. I stayed on the couch all day with a soar throat and a lottle of Discovery Channel. I think I have seen enough survival programs to out do Chuck Norris blindfolded. Man, why is it that (as a guy) you can watch that channel whole day? Jeez…

I also got a bit further on the Kämpfer, but it’s not much. Airbrushing these nice Mr.Color fumes isn’t really good for me when I allready have a fucked up throat. I worked on the lighter grey interior parts. Still need to finish ‘em of with a nice coat of Future. To night I will put up some pictures of the progress.
