Since I am the cook in the house here I’m going to try something new. A pee soup for the first time. I’ll prepare it tonight, but it will taste even better tomorrow. So that is when we’re going to eat it too. For tonight it’ll just be a homemade pizza. Well, homemade topping that is, hehe.

Today I also ‘handed’ in my paper. It took a while because some lazy teacher didn’t respond my damn email so it all got delayed by one big month. I started writing about the typical styles that appear in all those little profile pictures on social network sites. My first research question wasn’t really good enough so after finding the artist Gijs Müller and his piece called “Uw nieuwste vriend” (transl. Your new friend) it went fast. I started researching the difference and similarities between the Hyves -Netherlands most popular social network- and Gijs Müller’s project. For the interested people you can find a copy here (96 KB in Dutch). Hopefully it’s all ok now, then I just have to bind it and it’s a wrap!

That was sort of a half ass weekend… Saturday I went to the open day at the CABK in Zwolle. It’s the artschool that my girlfriend is planning to attend. She’s still in Enschede at the AKI now, but want’s to change since in Zwolle there’s a special course for book illustration, children books, et cetera. One of here major sources of inspiration is Wolf Erlbruch. He does have made a load of really good books, well as far as I can tell.

Sunday sucked ass. I stayed on the couch all day with a soar throat and a lottle of Discovery Channel. I think I have seen enough survival programs to out do Chuck Norris blindfolded. Man, why is it that (as a guy) you can watch that channel whole day? Jeez…

I also got a bit further on the Kämpfer, but it’s not much. Airbrushing these nice Mr.Color fumes isn’t really good for me when I allready have a fucked up throat. I worked on the lighter grey interior parts. Still need to finish ‘em of with a nice coat of Future. To night I will put up some pictures of the progress.

Allright, that’s it! My blog has officially started now. I added some content to my Gundam pages. Both the In progress and the Finished page are getting bigger… Well, that is, the in progress page anyway, but the finished page will take some time before it get’s another update.

Then on to some more personal stuff that’s going on. A while ago some people from advertising agency Blink tricked

me in posing for some photo’s they now use in their campaign for the new music center that’s going to be opened real soon here in Enschede. I’m already seen in these glass things and stuck up on some walls!

The text saying “Ik ga los” is Dutch for “I’m going all out” or “I’m going crazy”… Still have to mail them and ask for one of these big ass prints of myself!

Hello y’all and welcome to my brand new Wordpress blog. After a few troublesome weeks and a lot of swearing at my other host I finally managed to put up a Wordpress that is able to upload my pictures and show them like it should without displaying some anoying HTTP error.

This whole site will be concentrating on me, myself and I only. Some daily life stuff and ofcourse my newly rediscovered hobby of Gunpla.
